setting up wifi @ home... pls help!

patabang ko sa mga banggiitan diri beh...

nag setup ko wifi sa balay namo bah, naa sa ground floor ang modem connection. nagkonek na kog wireless router. makaabot ang signal sa amung 2nd floor pero sa sala2x ra kutob. dili makaabot ang signal sa room nko. bisan giilisan na nkog belkin wireless N akng router, di gihapun kaabot.
unsaon mana nko para makakuha ko signal sa akng room?

nagplano ko magpalit ug AP, or extender or unsa bah. pero mu-work ba na sya if wireless ang connection from the belkin router to the AP? unsaon man pag setup? nya unsa man maayo nga AP or repeater or extender akng paliton?

Add a wireless repeater. Wireless repeaters extend your wireless network range without requiring you to add any wiring. Just place the wireless repeater halfway between your wireless access point and your computer, and you'll get an instant boost to your wireless signal strength. Check out the wireless repeaters from ViewSonic, D-Link, Linksys, Buffalo Technology and Belkin.

It would also be better if your wireless repeater is the same brand as your wireless router. Some vendors offer a performance boost of up to twice the performance when you choose their hardware. (i.e.) Linksys has the SpeedBooster technology, and D-Link has the 108G enhancement.

Move the router off the floor and away from walls and metal objects. Metal, walls, and floors will interfere with your router's wireless signals. The closer your router is to these obstructions, the more severe the interference, and the weaker your connection will be.

unsa diay nakalahi anang AP ug repeater? ug kana pud extender? unsa man nakalahi ana nila?

so ang setup ana ky --(pc somewhere here) modem-->wired with the wireless router --> wireless connection with repeater --> wireless with laptop ??? sakto bah?

Not that i know of. Murag naa jd na syay cable gikan sa router padung sa AP.
